Hiking
With our minibus rental service in Mallorca, we pick you up at your hotel or holiday home and accompany you to the starting point of your walking tour.
The “Piedra Seca” Route offers you the chance to discover the dry stone landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the category of cultural landscape. It also allows you to visit interesting historical remains, encounter myths and legends, and learn about the traditions, architecture, customs, gastronomy and handicrafts of this privileged part of the island’s geography.
The hiking route often approaches the coast and, in some sections, the highest peaks of the sierra. The combination and diversity of vegetation on all the routes, with dense holm oak groves and typically Mediterranean scrubland, contribute to increasing the scenic interest of the trail.
The Routes are based on the network of old paths restored by the Consell de Mallorca, which, thanks to the island’s climate, can be followed most of the year.
On request, you can be accompanied by an experienced hiking guide who will explain the qualities of the route, as well as the plants and animals of the local flora.
